My name is Maureen Tobben and I have been working as dietitian and lifestyle coach since 1 January 2016. In 2013 I graduated as a dietitian and then as a sports dietitian.
I have always been involved in sports from an early age and that is why my passion for food has arisen. During the Nutrition & Dietetics study I became increasingly interested in the relationship between nutrition and sport. That is why I completed the Sport & Nutrition minor during my studies. Then I followed the post HBO sport dietetics and may I call myself an official sport dietitian.
In my free time I am currently training a lot. In the summer I will complete the Ironman triathlon (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running). I am doing a lot of sports outside now, but I am also regularly in the kitchen to try out new recipes.
I find it a nice challenge to guide people in the field of sport & nutrition, but I also think it is a challenge to ensure that people who want to lose weight feel fitter. In addition to individual supervision, I also regularly provide information.
My areas of focus are: sports nutrition, slimming, diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, IBS and FODMAP.
